Temporary & Construction Power
Construction-site and disaster-recovery temporary power, engineered for safety rather than just plugged in.
Overview
Temporary power on a construction site or after a disaster is energized work, performed by mixed trades, in an environment that changes daily. We engineer temporary services (utility tap, transformer, panels, spider boxes, GFCI distribution) with proper grounding, GFCI coverage per OSHA 1926.404, and a coordination study sized to the actual loads. The temporary system gets the same engineering rigor as the permanent service.
What's included
Scope of work
Utility coordination for the temporary service
Generator sizing for off-grid sites
Panel and spider-box layout with GFCI coverage per OSHA 1926.404
Grounding and bonding per NEC 250
Coordination study sized to the temp-power load profile
Decommissioning plan for transition to permanent power
Methodology
How the engagement runs
A consistent process means predictable timelines, fewer surprises, and a defensible record if anyone (AHJ, insurance, OSHA) asks how the work was done.
- 01
Load planning
Trade-by-trade load forecast across construction phases.
- 02
Service design
Temporary utility service or generator package, panels, and distribution sized and laid out.
- 03
Safety review
