Utility Coordination

Primary metering, interconnection agreements, and utility-side coordination, handled so you don’t have to chase it.

Overview

Every new service, capacity upgrade, or DER interconnection involves the serving utility. We act as your engineer-of-record interface with the utility: applications, service planning, primary metering coordination, transformer specifications, easement language, witness-test scheduling. Projects that get stuck are usually stuck on utility coordination; we keep them moving.

Methodology

How the engagement runs

A consistent process means predictable timelines, fewer surprises, and a defensible record if anyone (AHJ, insurance, OSHA) asks how the work was done.

  1. 01

    Pre-app discovery

Existing service review, available capacity confirmation, and tariff analysis before the application is filed.

  2. 02

    Application package

Load letter, single-line, and supporting calculations prepared and submitted.

  3. 03

    Ongoing coordination

Meeting cadence with utility planning and field engineering until energization.

  4. 04

    Witness test

Schedule and attend the utility witness test; correct any findings.
