Overview

A duct bank is a one-time install with a fifty-year service life. The geometry decided in the design phase governs ampacity, mutual heating, and how easy it is to pull replacement cable in ten years. We design encased duct banks for substations, data centers, and large commercial campuses with proper duct spacing, bend radii, manhole and pull-box placement, and integrated ampacity calculation via CYMCAP.

    Site survey

    Coordination with civil for utilities, drainage, and structural conflicts.

  2. 02

    Cross-section design

    Duct count, material (PVC, fiberglass, steel), spacing, and burial depth set against ampacity needs and pull tension.

    Manholes / pull boxes

    Spacing and sizing per NEC and pull-tension calculations.

  4. 04

    Ampacity verification

    CYMCAP run on the as-designed geometry to confirm cable ratings.

    CD package

    PE-stamped plan, profile, and detail sheets with full specifications.
